Throw back Thursday takes us back to Mr. Karl Nobles. Karl worked the umpire position and let me tell you he was 1 of the best I ever seen worked that position. He also was a Refree. He worked several state championship games. He was an college official as well. He was a great teacher and mentor for all of us. Karl would be happy how eafoa is still running. Just wanted to post this. If you are interested in officiating hs football and u are not in our coverage area we can still help u. We have contacts across the state and can point you in the right direction. We will get you in touch with the association in your area or will get in touch with that district director. We have already been contacted for the north alabama area. We forward there info to that director up there. We are all in this for the same reason and we all are recruiting right now. Throw back Thursday for many years EAFOA did a toy drive and little league football games. 100% of all money collected and toys went to those who wouldn't had a Christmas if it hadn't been for this event. ERA King was our sponsor for many years. We did this at several schools over the years. EAFOA is always wanting to give back to our local community in helping kids.
