Owen County Parks and Recreation Dance Come dance with us! All skill levels are welcome. Ballet will be offered from ages 2 and up and Hip - Hop will be offered to ages 8 and up!

➡️ Please enter through the doors closest to the gym.

🚨 Practices are CLOSED to parents until the last 5 minutes of class.
The 2–3 year old ballet class is the exception—parents may stay.

🚪 Closed Practices:
All classes will be CLOSED practices until the last 5 minutes of class, with the exception of the 2–3 year-old ballet class. Parents may stay for that class.

👚 What to Wear/Bring:
Please have your dancer wear comfortable clothing with their hair pulled back. Dancers may wear ballet slippers, go barefoot, or wear tennis shoes.

💧 Please make sure your dancer brings a water bottle!

🍂 Fall Dance Registration is Open! 🍂

We aren’t quite ready for summer to be over, but it’s already time to start planning and preparing for another fun Fall Dance Session! We are so excited for another season of learning, growing, and making memories together, all leading up to our Christmas recital to help kick off the holiday season. 🎄✨

Before we share all the details, we want to say thank you to everyone who took the time to complete our parent survey. We truly appreciate your feedback! We carefully reviewed every response and have made several changes based on your suggestions.

✨ What’s New This Fall:
• All classes will be closed practices until the last 5 minutes of class, with the exception of the 2–3-year-old Ballet class.
• A 15-minute break has been added between classes to allow time for bathroom breaks, drinks, and a smooth transition between groups.
• Our Fall Dance Session will be 14 weeks, including:
• 4 weeks of technique
• 10 weeks of recital preparation
• Mrs. Abby will have a classroom helper this year!

Important Dates:

📅 First Week of Classes: August 25th

🎭 Recital Week: We are planning for the week of November 30th. Classes will still meet that week in addition to the recital. Please note this date may change depending on school events or weather.

🍂 No classes during Fall Break

🦃 Thanksgiving Week: All classes will be combined and held on Tuesday evening.

Cost: $140 for the 14-week Fall Dance Session
