It's and our kitties were so excited when we got more canned food donations in🥳

We are constantly using Friskies canned food for trapping and we are trying to teach these youngins the importance of spay and neuter😉

Lots of laundry is used for TNR and cat care. This is such a relief for our team and we are so grateful for donors and volunteers💜🐈‍⬛

A Good Samaritan donated a bunch of quarters so the girls are getting us all caught up on laundry!

As our rescue continues to grow we're making a few changes to help us place cats and kittens in the best homes possible. Going forward, we will only be adopting to pre-approved homes within Daviess County. Having applications completed ahead of time helps us get to know potential adopters, make better matches, and ensure our cats are set up for success.

It's and our team has been hard at work. The girls have been in the heat, humidity, and loading and unloading at clinic in the rain the last 2 days.

Our life saving work wouldn't be possible without the spay and neuter clinics that provide us and our cats with excellent care. We cannot thank Daviess County It Takes A Village No-Kill Rescue and Fix Grayson County KY enough for supporting our mission.

Our total for the week so far is 51 cats spayed and neutered and it's only Tuesday🥳

All cats are recovering well in the rescue center with AC, water and lots of wet food. As you can imagine, we are using a TON of wet food to recover this many cats.

During busy weeks like this one, we spend over $1,400 on spay/neuter, food for the cats, and gas. Every penny helps🙌🏻 We are a small volunteer run non-profit with a director that works 3 jobs to keep it afloat🐈‍⬛

It's so we hope you are taking time for yourself and your feline friends to rest and recharge🐈‍⬛

We wanted to hop on here since it's yard sale season to say that if you find yourself getting rid of plastic cat carriers, we will definitely be interested in purchasing reasonably priced carriers. We need tons of them and we never seem to have enough🥺 We do NOT use fabric carriers as they cannot be disinfected properly. Germs are not our friend when it comes to kittens with no immune system🙅🏽‍♀️

Plastic cat carriers are used daily for:

💜Kitten vaccine appointments
💜Transporting sick animals to the vet
💜Loaned out to owners without carriers so they can secure their cats for spay/neuter appointments
💜Transports to other rescue facilities

Please share🐈‍⬛ We wish we had time to shop at all the yard sales this season but we are simply too busy with TNR locations and spay/neuter planning. Thank you!

Her foster says she does well with cats and other dogs, and she loves something soft to chew on. She is house trained, and the best girl!!!
