Prism is Kentucky Wesleyan’s LGBT organization. This club is open to both LGBT and ally students.
Prism is involved in activism efforts both on/off campus and works continuously to make Kentucky Wesleyan and Owensboro a safe place for LGBT people.

Come out tonight for our memorial vigil for Matthew Shepard and other victims of LGBT+ hate crimes. The vigil will start at 5 in front of KWC’s admin building. We will meet at KWC’s panther statue to begin our march the next day at 1. Please make sure to come out to these two very important events!!

Just had our “Pie for Pride” event! So far we have raised $42 for The Trevor Project! We aren’t gonna stop there though! We’ve decided to continue accepting donations for the rest of the week! Come out later tonight for our “Tie-Dye DIY Pride Shirt” event! We have 50 shirts so it’s first come, first served! This event and all others for the rest of the week are free but donations are accepted and encouraged!!

KWC Prism has partnered with SGA to put on a showing of Love, Simon. Love, Simon is a coming of age tale of Simon, a high-school student that has to deal with his secret of being gay and of finding the identity of an anonymous boy that he has fallen for online. This movie will be shown in Roger’s Hall at 10 pm Sunday (October 4, 2020). We ask that you please bring either your camping chairs or blankets because of the location! Spots are at a first come, first served basis for social distancing. Please joint us for a wonderful LGBT rom-com!
