6:00 PM set up: Steele County Free Fair Beer Gardens. We will also have an “assigned” location as well and will update on here as well but look for the Blue/Silver balloons. Come Anytime!

Saturday August 19th
12:45 PM: Meet on the front steps at the Classic Owatonna High School for 1:00 tour.
7:00: Owatonna Elks Club Address: 126 E Vine Street
FYI: Dinner options are limited downtown. Romas is not opening for those of you who maybe thinking of Italian. But please if anyone has any recommendations, please post here!
The block of rooms has been filled however, if anyone still needs a room they can get added by contacting Blaine in group reservations at the Downtown Owatonna Marriott. 507-431-4130. Sounds like there are some Uber drivers and Lyft in the area for all to be safe!

1 Month away from our time together!
Our team of happy volunteers secured a time for a tour of the “OLD” Owatonna High School! Meet at the front steps at 12:45pm on Saturday August 19th, we will be touring with the High School Class of 1975!
Remember:
Friday night August 18th

12:45: Tour of the Old Classic High School.
7:00: Owatonna Elks Club Address: 126 E Vine Street

(8) A volleyball on a boys letter jacket

Our team of happy volunteers have answered your request for a tour of the “OLD” Owatonna High School! We are awaiting the time of the tour, and will be touring with the High School Class of 1975! Once confirmed please look here for updates. (Sometime in the afternoon of Saturday August 19th)
We will NOT be touring the New High School as they are not letting people into the building until September.

Saturday August 19th:
10:30 am (tentatively) a tour of the new Owatonna High School. Address: 1455 18th Street SE.
7:00 Owatonna Elks Club Address: 126 E Vine Street
If you would like to have dinner before fun and conversation at the Elks, we recommend Roma’s (the old Jerry’s), or Torey’s. Both of these are downtown locations. We also recommend getting reservations prior.

Good Day to OHS Class of 83! We are excited to let you know that there is a team of peeps working to help coordinate a fun Class of 1983 Reunion!
We have determined, through the positive feedback on FB, the most popular weekend choice for a 40-year 1983 Class Reunion will be during the Owatonna Steele County Fair weekend, which is August 18th,19th, and 20th.
We have a group that cheerfully volunteered to work on the details for the weekend. We are contemplating a happy hour at the Steele County Free Fair, a possible tour of the new Owatonna High School, and an evening together at a local restaurant (yet to be determined.) We are looking also at a block of rooms at the Courtyard Marriott in Owatonna.
The consensus is that we should not be charging for food or attendance. We want to make this event an easy “YES!”. As such, there is no extra cost to show up. You’ll only pay for what you consume.
This is in the early planning stages, so please stay tuned to this FB page, and another FB page called the “Owatonna High School Class of 83” for updates. Please invite or point people to these pages, as this will be the only method that will we will be using to communicate.
