You are invited to join World Moo Duk Kwan members from around the world for an online training session with the World TAC on Saturday December 20 at 4pm New York time. This session will be appropriate for all members. Zoom details will be sent to all National TAC during the week.

This past weekend we had the honor and privilege of hosting the Region 6 Fall Dan Shim Sa! Moo Duk Kwan members and their families traveled from Arkansas, Kansas, Oklahoma, and Texas for the Shim Sa and to strengthen the bond in the region.

The Shim Sa began with excitement as Craig Hays Sa Bom Nim presented Hockman Sa Bom Nim with his Chil Dan Certificate!

Congratulations, Hockman Sa Bom Nim on your promotion and congratulations to all the test candidates, seniors, instuctors, and visitors for a successful event! To our students, volunteers, and especially Kandis Smith and Eileen Townsend Jo Kyo, thank you for all of your efforts behind the scenes that made this event run smoothly.

Congratulations to Paul T. Smith for completing his Jo Kyo (assistant instructor) certification! We are looking forward to your continued success as you work on becoming a certified instructor!

On this day, four years ago, Townsend Sa Bom Nim held the first Dan Promotion for Owasso Soo Bahk Do!

Congratulations to our students who participated in the 2025 Virtual Nationals, and welcome new student, Thomas!

Every student that competed did well and placed in the top three in their divisions! Great job, students, on your dedication and preparation!

We'd like to thank everyone who competed across the US, and for those volunteers that made this all happen including members of the Board, TAC, and REX! This year's turnaround time for the results was the fastest yet and the new medals turned out great!

We had a great time at the Redwolves Karate Club on Saturday!

Jennings Jo Kyo Nim started this club last year at Capitol Hill High School, an inner-city school in Oklahoma City. He volunteers his time and resources to provide this opportunity to students who wouldn’t be able to pay for and attend a traditional studio. He covers the costs of materials, uniforms, gear and fees through donations. We are thankful for him and his dedication!

Townsend Sa Bom Nim went to support and lead the Gup Test for 5 of the students. He also shared more about the art through additional training and demos. We are thankful for his continued leadership and support!

This is the second test for group of students. It was great to see their development and personal growth!

Jennings JKN hopes to get new students in the program when school begins next semester.
