Shihan Reed Noss is spending the summer in Northern Wisconsin for two months. Of course, he travels with kobudo weapons to practice. As Hayashi Soke once told us “no matter how long you train and how old you are, there are always goals.” Here Shihan is at 73 years old (53 years training).

Here Rick and Reed were 49 years ago. So, Reed Noss fights and breaks his arm. James Richard Noss fights and his front teeth get smashed out ( day after getting braces out.) Their parents, grand parents and friends are in the photo. No mouth guards, no hand pads, no any protection. And no real rules.
