Literacy Equestrian Center

Created a habitat with items found around the farm. We read about the Exxon Valdez oil spill, and created our own to experiment different ways to clean it up. Found chicken feathers to show how oil sticks to the birds and what it would do to them. This was so interesting and fun!

We have openings at 9am on Monday 7/11 and 11am on Wednesday 7/13. This was originally an off week, but Ms. Robin will be out there! Yay! Let DJ know if you want to sign up 😃

Babies! Last summer, both Alyssa, (our horseback riding instructor) and Danielle (founder of Literacy Equestrian reading programs) were both expecting girls in October 2021. Fast forward to this summer, and look what I get to see, and when I'm lucky enough, carry around!!

I think making ocean pudding was a hit this week! We mixed ingredients, added food coloring, smashed cookies into “sand”, and decorated! 💙🏖
