Sawyer has been judging wine competitions for twenty years, and notes that r...

I'd like to whip out this article every time a customer hesitates to buy a bottle with a screw cap for fear of looking "cheap".
2015 Wine Closure Trends: Screwcaps Gain; Cork Taint Subsides | James Laube's Wine Flights |... Senior editor James Laube says that tainted corks are rarer than ever, but that screwcaps are the way of the future. Leave it to Doug Frost to compare himself to Mikey from the Life cereal commercials! Thanks for the great Thanksgiving Day wine suggestions! Personally, I'd have not objection to any of those Pinots.
Hey, Mikey! Drink the wine you like Wine should not be intimidating; it should be a joyful celebration, not a stress fest. Since you’re already a food expert, Thanksgiving is the time to apply that knowledge to wine

How To Drink Champagne Without Becoming Even More Broke Than Usual Let me begin with an uninformed and yet almost certainly accurate assumption: you drink champagne at most twice a year, one of which is the perfunctory glass on New Year's Eve that you end up blaming for your hangover the next morning instead of the 14 Red Bull vodkas you blasted between 1 and 3 a.m...

Liking the good word on Missouri Wine! Thanks Doug Frost!
Missouri wines continue to march forward - KansasCity.com Missouri is in the top ranks of wine-producing states with about 120 wineries. From a sales standpoint, the state does even better: More than 8 percent of the wine purchased here is Missouri produced. So the question is: why not more?

How cool is this?! On of my favorite publications on facebook talking about an app for one of my/our favorite things - wine!
The world of wine is confusing. Actually, no, it's terrifying. Enter Hello Vino, the app that boasts "NO SLOBS ALLOWED" (thank god). It features a handy wine label scanner that lets you snap a photo of a wine bottle and instantly pull up reviews and food pairings and a library of recommendations.
Just one of 5 free apps we're recommending for you this weekend: http://f-st.co/2S5KYUA
