Meet Miss Maranda! This is her 4th summer with Challenge Island. During the school year she teaches high school English and speech and serves as a student mentor leader teacher in the Wellsville School District. She enjoys Challenge Island because she loves the innovative ways students complete the challenges. When she is not teaching she enjoys hiking in National Parks. Meet Ms. Ebony, a new recruit to our Challenge Island teaching staff this summer! During the school year, she serves as an educator in the Kansas City Kansas Public Schools. "I love Challenge Island because it allows me to combine creativity, teamwork, and hands-on STEM learning in a way that makes learning exciting and memorable for every child".
When Ms. Ebony isn't teaching she enjoys coaching middle school debate, cheer, soccer, spending time with her family, and traveling. Welcome to the Ohana Ms. Ebony!🌴

Meet Ms. Addie! This is her 3rd summer with Challenge Island! During the school year, she teaches kindergarten at Cedar Creek Elementary school in Olathe. She loves the excitement Challenge Island brings when kids take a challenge placed in front of them and problem solve, as well as work as a team, to complete that challenge with success. She says it's awesome to see the different ways kids think and the variety of ways a challenge can be solved. When Addie's not teaching, she enjoys spending time with her 3 kids, traveling with her family, reading and relaxing at the pool. Thank you for making it a great summer Ms. Addie! 🌴
