🐦 Word of the Day: Bird! 🦢🦅

Today our little learners explored the word “Bird” in English, Spanish, and ASL! Learning new words through language, movement, and hands-on fun helps children build communication skills in exciting ways. ❤️

ASL Sign: Bird
Spanish Word: Pájaro (PAH-ha-roh)

Simple sentences we practiced:
• English: “I see a bird.”
• Spanish: “Yo veo un pájaro.”

Here at Smart Beginnings Academy, we love incorporating ASL and Spanish into our curriculum to help build communication, inclusion, and early language development skills in a fun and engaging way! 🌎✨

We also worked on our Letter of the Week: B is for Bird! 🅱️🐦

This was the perfect activity to pair with our spring themes, nature walks, and outdoor exploration! 🌸☀️🪺
