We are pleased to announce this year’s Alumni Career Connectors that will be present at this year’s Dr. Lewis B. O’Donnell Media Summit!
John Mongiello ‘14 - Digital Media Video Editor at HBO & Max; Former Associate Producer at WWE
John Mongiello graduated from SUNY Oswego in 2014 with a BA in Broadcasting. While at Oswego, John was a video intern for Elvis Duran & The Morning Show on iHeartMedia. After graduating, Mongiello went on to be a Producer & On-Air Talent for CUMULUS Media, & went from Production Assistant to Senior Production Assistant to Associate Producer for WWE. Currently, Mongiello is a full-time Digital Media Video Editor for HBO & Max Original Programming.
Stephanie Gregorio ‘20 - Senior Social Media Manager for Hawkings International
Stephanie Gregorio received her BA in Public Relations from SUNY Oswego in 2020. Gregorio served as a Social Media Intern for the Department of Communication Studies from late 2019 up until her graduation. Continuing her passion for content creation, she has cemented her content creator savant status through a full-time position as a Senior Social Media Manager at Hawkins International- a FINN Partners Company.
Timothy Cato III ‘20 - Host, Producer, and Director of the “I Got More To Say” Audio-Visual Podcast; Co-Host of “Straight From The Underground FM,” the Hottest Underground Hip-Hop Radio Show
Timothy Cato graduated from SUNY Oswego in 2021 with a BA in Communications and Media. He went on to earn his MA in Audio Arts from Syracuse University. Cato is now self-employed as the Host, Producer, and Director of the “I Got More To Say” Audio-Visual Podcast. He also serves as a Co-Host of “Straight From The Underground FM,” a radio show that is described as the “Hottest Underground Hip-Hop Radio Show.”

Shamus Lobene ‘19 - Free-lance Video Production Assistant and Light Designer NYC
Class of 2019, Shamus (he/him) graduated with a BA in Broadcasting and Cinema & Screen Studies! He now works as a Key Grip, as well as a Freelance Video Production Assistant and Lighting Designer.
Daniela Rosario ‘17 - Associate Creative Director at VML
Class of 2017, Daniela (she/her) graduated with a BA in Graphic Design! Harnessing her love for creation and story-telling, she is now the Associate Creative Director for VML, a creative consulting agency.
Michael Allchin ‘20 - Graphic Designer at Nexstar Media Group, Inc./Freelance Content Creator
Class of 2020, Michael (he/him) graduated with a BA in Broadcasting and Cinema & Screen Studies! During his time at Oswego, Michael was the Lead Editor in the SUNY Oswego Holiday TV special in 2019. Now, Allchin works as a News Graphic Designer and a Freelance Content Creator.

Our final panelist for the 20th Annual Media Summit is Jake Piacenti (he/him)! Class of 2019, Jake graduated with a BA in Broadcasting and also holds an Associate’s degree in Radio & Television from Suffolk County Community College. Jake is currently the Technical Director at CBS Sports HQ.
This year’s Media Summit will be held on Wednesday, September 25th at 3PM in Waterman Theatre!

Announcing our second alumni panelist—Media, Operations, and Technology Advisor, Richard Wolf (he/him)! Class of 1976, Richard graduated with a BA in Broadcasting as well as holding an Associates Arts degree from Nassau Community College. Wolf is the former Vice President of Telecommunications & Affiliate Support for ABC Broadcast Operations & Engineering; and the former Executive Vice President of The Switch.
