🍔☀️ What a fantastic way to celebrate the end of the school year! ☀️🍟

Our students enjoyed a special trip to Duffy's Bar & Grill, where they had the opportunity to practice important independent living skills by ordering their own meals from a student-friendly menu thoughtfully curated by the Duffy's staff. 📝👏

Not only did our students get real-world experience communicating with restaurant staff, making choices, and managing a dining experience, but Duffy's also graciously welcomed us to their amazing patio and treated our students with such kindness and respect. 💙

We are so grateful for community partners like Duffy's who help create meaningful learning opportunities while making our students feel valued and included. This annual end-of-year celebration has become a favorite tradition, and this year was no exception!

Thank you, Duffy's, for helping us make lasting memories and celebrate a year of growth, learning, and independence! 🎉🍔🌟

🎭🌟 Check this out! 🌟🎭

The Unlabeled Theatre Company has their Spring Performance coming up this May, and it’s truly something special. Their cast includes talented actors who are neurodivergent or have cognitive and physical disabilities, each paired with a neurotypical “shadow partner” to support the performance—creating a powerful, inclusive theater experience 💛

The company is based in Edina, and performances are held at the Gremlin Theatre in St. Paul.

This could be a great opportunity for OEC students—whether you'd enjoy watching a performance or are interested in being a performer yourselves! 🎟✨
