This is not good for making sure the school year will start on time. Next year's Senior class could be inconvenienced and have to do more in less time in order to graduate on time. Let's do 2 things: 1) vote out the current delegation that have created this disaster 2) Hope that they can pull their thoughts together refocus on properly funding the schools in Kansas

Self-inflicted Teacher Shortage.... Yup.... certainly is.

Kansas school superintendent Alan Cunningham has been involved with hiring teachers for the past 35 years. In that time, he has never had a harder time filling positions than this year. Qualified applicants

There appears to atleast be some voices of sanity from Molly Baumgartner (R-Louisburg ) and the Senate Taxation Committee Chairman and I agree with him needs public hearings and it bothers the heck out of me too.
