Delta Zeta-Alpha Upsilon at UMaine Delta Zeta was founded by 6 young women with a vision to share sisterly-love, to empower women, to p Delta Zeta was founded in 1902 at Miami University in Ohio.

Today, we have 158 collegiate chapters and over 200,000 members,
both nationally and internationally, making us the second largest sorority. Our philanthropies include The Painted Turtle Camp and The Speech and Hearing Foundation. For information about Delta Zeta:

“Having been a tri-sport athlete my entire life I wanted to have a supportive community of girls to have my back in college. I went DZ because I had great talks with them every night of recruitment. The girls were super genuine and they really listened and cared about what I was saying. It was clear that they would always have my back and be the supportive community I was looking for at school. I'm so happy to call these girls my sisters, joining Delta Zeta was the best choice I could've made my first semester of college.”
