Diving into the world of high-performance flooring, from epoxy and urethane to polyaspartic systems. Learning how chemistry, surface preparation, and application methods come together to create durable, long-lasting results.

From broadcast and metallic finishes to solid color and thick-build systems, plus penetrating and topical sealers, this day was all about selecting the right system and ensuring long-term performance.

Today we dove into vertical cementitious systems and themed finishes, learning how to turn walls and façades into realistic brick, stone, plaster, and sculpted textures.

From micro-toppings to full carving systems, it was all about tools, technique, and creativity in motion.

MODMAN × CASTO recently hosted students from UCF’s Themed Experience program as they fabricated artwork for UCF Celebrates the Arts at the Dr. Phillips Center.

From fabrication and finishing to transporting the final pieces, it was incredible to see these ideas come to life in the shop before heading to the exhibition stage.

We’re proud to support opportunities that give students real hands-on experience in themed design and fabrication.

Day Two = LEVEL UP.

We got hands-on with concrete rehab and enhancement taking tired slabs and turning them into high-performance surfaces.
