Valentine’s Day run at Walt Disney World! 💌🎀🏃🏼‍♀️🏃🏻‍♀️

Yesterday we ran 4 miles from Disney’s Hollywood Studios to Swan and Dolphin, Yacht and Beach Club, and Boardwalk! I love running, especially when I’m at my favorite running trails with my bestie girl! Fun girly run followed by pink sparkly drinks and treats? More of this please!! 💖💌🎀🍒

There are SO many incredible bites available at RISE, and we loved trying all the yummy offerings during our visit!!! My favorites were definitely the Chicken Club (we got ours on biscuits but you can also order on a potato bun as well), and the Blueberry Biscuit! 😍🥓🥬🍅🫐

Other key highlights are their super user-friendly ordering kiosks, friendly customer service, and heated lockers for mobile ordered takeout!

I HAD THE TIME OF MY LIFE RUNNING RACES WITH YOU!!!! 🥹💜🫶🏼🏃🏼‍♀️🏰✨

Running the D***y Challenge sounded so daunting for the longest time because I felt like I would be doing most of it alone. I am so happy to say that I never once felt alone. Every message, voice memo, phone call, comment, spectator, running partner, and encouragement from my friends and family helped me feel surrounded by love throughout this entire experience. I am so thankful for this community, and my village for this incredible feeling, of gratitude and love. 🫶🏼💜✨

I had so much fun running around the parks with my girl during the Walt Disney World Marathon!! Running with Ashley for most of this race turned a daunting new race length for me, into a super fun girls yap session!! If that’s not girlhood, then idk what is. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Wow. 48.6 miles in one weekend. My FIRST marathon AND my FIRST D***y Challenge!!

A 6 month training block, lots of early mornings, hundreds of miles ran, and a whole lot of dedication to this incredible dream. I wouldn’t have changed any of it. This challenge pushed me to learn more about myself, and to seek new adventures. I feel strong, courageous, and filled with excitement to see what all I am capable of!
✨
A couple years ago I told a friend of mine in the runDisney community, that after years of racing and a retirement from the sport brought on by injury- I would probably never race again… yet this weekend, I completed my SEVENTH runDisney race in less than a year, another 5K and 10K like I run weekly, my 12th half marathon, my second runDisney challenge, my first marathon, and of course D***Y! 🫶🏼

I’m so beyond thankful to everyone who believed in me, and encouraged me, and who pushed me to be better than my best. I am so blessed. This has truly been such a dream come true. 💜🏰🏃🏼‍♀️✨
