In partnership with the Blankner Foundation, the PTSA was able to gift a high school shirt to each of our graduating 8th graders. We are grateful to the Blankner Foundation for their generous contribution!

We will miss the incredible energy and enthusiasm this group brought to Blankner. We can’t wait to see all the great things they accomplish in high school and beyond!

We hope our 5th grade Blankner Bulldogs had an epic flight this week on their way to middle school.

They’re now scheduled for a mandatory summer layover of sleeping in and pool days. But come August, their final approach means walking straight off the top of the stairs and making a sharp right turn into 6th grade.

Current weather at the destination is 92 degrees with a 100% chance of sudden growth spurts, voice cracks, and wild emotional turbulence. Because of this, regulations require you to fully deploy your deodorant before arrival.

Have a great summer! 😎

One more day of school, and then it’s time for our teachers to tag in parents for summer 😎

Our 5th grade students got their first taste of middle school life today by getting to wear red polo shirts (a color only reserved for our 6th-8th graders).

They also were thrilled to get time to sign yearbooks this morning.

Although we officially π™ π™žπ™˜π™ π™šπ™™ 𝙀𝙛𝙛 β€œ5 for 5” yesterday with a hat day and donuts for our fifth grade students, today they enjoyed a friendly(ish?) game of kickball against the Blankner staff.

*No students were harmed πŸ₯³, but we’re pretty sure a few staff members will be icing their backs later.

While the students will still be working hard over the next week completing their CFEs, there is also a lot of fun planned, starting with the 8th grade dance! πŸ•ΊπŸ»πŸ’ƒ

For all of those πŸ“ππ‘ 𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐞 𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 who like to plan ahead, definitely take note that on 5/22, your child will get their first opportunity to wear a RED polo to school as they prepare to become middle schoolers!
