During a Social Studies unit we studied maps, landmarks, and more. Students each completed a Florida project to end the unit and even presented their work! We are so proud of our scholars!

Lots of learning happening here at FLEX!

We have been studying maps for Social Studies this unit.

We drew maps of our learning space and put an X where we hid treasure. The other students had to read our map and map key to find the treasure.

We then discussed if there were things we needed to add or fix on our maps to make them more accurate for next time!

FLEX Academy celebrated our first 100 days of instruction today. We are beyond grateful for our kiddos and families for taking a chance on our program and sharing their love of their kiddos growth so far this year. We look forward to the next 100!

We continue our shapes unit in math. Along with learning the names and attributes of 3D shapes, we built 3D shapes out of toothpicks and marshmallows to count corners, edges, and faces!

First and second graders chose and researched one habitat. They studied the climate as well as the plants and animals. They created a written report and a habitat diorama before presenting to the class!
