For more than 56 years, UCP has been the experts for children with special needs providing the best support, education and therapy to children birth to age 21. Over the last decade, we have also opened our doors to children without disabilities and embraced an education model called Inclusion. Our children, families and team members have witnessed first-hand the benefits of children of all abiliti

es being in the same classroom; where learning and growth is the goal; where children with and without disabilities have the opportunity to be successful; where inclusion is the norm not the exception; and where parents play a huge part in our multi-disciplinary approach to whole-child growth and development. Last year alone, we touched more than 2,400 children and their families, but there are many more who can benefit from our SET of services: Support, Education and Therapy.

Get ready to soar with dragons and frolic with fairies as we step into the Everglow Forest for our UCP Bailes Community Academy Book Fair, happening Monday, October 20th through Friday, October 24th, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM daily! 📚✨

Join us for a magical week filled with SO MANY exciting new titles, exclusive releases, and beloved favorites that our students can’t wait to explore. Plus, don’t miss Family Night on Thursday, October 23rd, when the fair will stay open until 6:00 PM for families to shop together and experience the wonder of reading side by side. 💫

As we continue introducing the incredible faces behind the magic at BCA, we’re so excited for you to meet two more essential members of our campus family… Nurse Alisha and Ms. Nori!

💉 Nurse Alisha is the heart of our health and wellness! She cares for our students with so much love, calm, and compassion. Whether it’s a scraped knee, a nervous tummy, or just needing a comforting smile, Nurse Alisha is always there to make sure every Bear feels safe and cared for.

💫 Ms. Nori, our front desk receptionist, is the warm, welcoming face you see when you walk through our doors. She keeps our front office running smoothly and makes every student, family member, and visitor feel right at home. Her kindness and patience set the tone for our entire school day.

We are so lucky to have these two wonderful women supporting our students and staff with grace, warmth, and heart. 💛

Meet Mrs. Viruet, our Enrollment Specialist, and Mrs. Ferguson, our School Business Manager—the powerhouse team behind everything that keeps BCA running smoothly.

From enrollment and event planning to campus operations and finances, they have a hand in it all. They support our families, welcome new ones, and help keep our students and staff safe every single day.

You’ll also find them manning the nurse’s office, creating the yearbook, snapping photos, assisting during lunch, and bringing fresh, inclusive ideas to life for our students.
