Our main mission is to unite all the various cultures present on campus, as well as to promote understanding and acceptance of different cultures. We serve as a support system to international students and strive to make them understand and blend into the American culture. Our goal is to promote togetherness, unity, friendship and diversity. Happy Monday!✨ In honor of Ramadan traditions we are hosting a potluck event on Monday, April 11th at UCF Global for UCF students exclusively! You’ll get to share a space, share a meal, and share a company! It’s going to start at 7:50pm, the time for Iftar, also known as futoor, that is the evening meal with which Muslims end their daily Ramadan fast at sunset. They break their fast at the time of the call to prayer for the evening prayer.
We encourage you to bring some food that represents your culture or represents something you love. 🥧🍜🥟We will have Ramadan music and you’ll get to socialize with people from a lot of countries and learn more about Ramadan and Islam. ☪️
And we’ll have some goodie bags!
