I’m a former teacher. I’m telling you, you don’t. Trust me. ✨

You don’t need a classroom, a full 8-hour day, or have it all figured out.

You just need to START and figure out what works for your family along the way.

That was one of the BIGGEST mindset shifts for us, especially as a former teacher. 🫠

Instead of recreating a classroom, we started building something that actually fits OUR life.

Something that follows her interests.
Something that allows flexibility.
Something that doesn’t feel forced.

Because learning doesn’t only happen at a desk, it happens in conversations, in experiences, in the moments they’re naturally curious.

And when you lean into that, everything feels a little easier.

A little lighter.

A little more meaningful. ✨

If you’ve ever felt like you had to “do school” at home, guess what? You don’t. 🫶🏼

It looks like slowing down long enough to notice the little things.

It looks like curiosity, asking questions, and seeing the world up close.

Not through a textbook, but in real life.

It looks like learning about animals while standing right in front of them.

Reading, exploring and wondering without even realizing how much she’s learning.

It looks like running, playing, discovering and following what lights her up. ✨

It looks like memories we’ll both carry forever.

And moments I know we would’ve missed if life was always rushing somewhere else.

It’s not perfect,
It’s not traditional,
But it’s meaningful in a way I can’t quite put into words. 💖

And for us…
it’s exactly what childhood should feel like. 🫶🏼
