It’s hard to believe that in just a few days, the students who once walked into the Lake with uncertainty and a few nerves will be heading off to high school. They’ve grown, achieved so much, hit milestone after milestone, made lasting impressions on our teachers and staff, and created memories that will stay with us forever.
While we’re sad to see them go, we couldn’t be more proud to watch them spread their wings and soar into this next chapter.
Thank you to all of our 8th grade families for the support, the love, and the countless ways you’ve helped get them here. This is what true teamwork looks like. And a special thank you to the families who volunteered their time, energy, and resources to make today possible. We are so grateful.

Yearbooks are $35 and can be purchased through SchoolCash Online. After purchasing, students should bring their receipt to Mr. Meneses to pick up their book.

We are so thankful to Community Health Centers Bithlo for your amazing gift baskets! We raffled them off for Teacher Appreciation Week, and the winners were thrilled! We are grateful for your partnership.

Devices will be collected through social studies classes in the media center. Please remind students to bring their laptop, the case for the laptop, and their charger in order to avoid any possible fees for missing devices or accessories.

The collection schedule is:

Monday, May 18th: 8th grade
Tuesday, May 19th: 7th grade
Wednesday, May 20th: 6th grade

We will do a last call on Thursday for any students who were absent or forgot to bring something on their collection day.

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Florida Summer Zone registration is now open for ALL Corner Lake Middle students and incoming 6th graders for next school year. Summer Zone is completely free, runs Monday-Thursday from 8:30-5:00 starting on June 1st with meals, snacks, trips, and all activities included. Spots are limited & fill up quickly, so register ASAP to have a fun, safe place for your child(ren) to go this, Summer. Registration begins April 1st, 2026! Please email [email protected] with any questions. We hope you’ll join in on the fun!
