What an incredible morning! We are still buzzing from the energy and talent showcased during our Speech Contest today.

To every student who stepped up to the microphone: we are so incredibly proud of you. It takes immense courage to share your voice and ideas so clearly and passionately.

While every participant did an outstanding job, we want to give a special shout-out to our winners for Best Speech.

Black History Month: Honoring the Past, Inspiring the Future.

🎨 Azalea Park Elementary: BHM Poster Contest 💡
The Challenge: Choose an African American innovator and create a poster telling their story!

Deadline: Wednesday, Feb 4th (Staff vote that day!)

Drop-off: Front Office

📝 Requirements
Size: Between 8.5"x11" and 22"x28"

Must Include: Student name, a Title, a Picture of the figure, and a Summary of their impact.

Creativity: Use any materials (paint, markers, digital, etc.).

🏆 Prizes
One winner per grade level will be chosen based on Creativity, Research, and Originality.

Family Note: This is a great way to research and celebrate Black
History Month together.
We can't wait to see your masterpieces!

Dear families,

We are thrilled to welcome our newest students to the Azalea Park Elementary family! We are officially preparing for the 2026-2027 school year, and we want to ensure you have everything you need to get your little learner enrolled.
📅 Key Dates
Enrollment Window Opens: Tuesday, January 20, 2026
Eligibility: Children must be 5 years old on or before September 1, 2026.

What You Will Need
To make the process as smooth as possible, please have the following documents ready to upload or bring to the office:
Proof of Age: Original birth certificate or passport.
Proof of Residency: (e.g., current utility bill, lease agreement, mortgage statement or verification of residence).
Immunization Records: Florida DH 680 form (or equivalent).
School Entry Physical: Completed within the last 12 months.

We can’t wait to see those new faces on campus!

Dear Panther Families,
We want to send our deepest gratitude for your incredible participation and support at last night’s Multicultural Night! Your enthusiasm and presence truly made the evening a wonderful success and a beautiful celebration of our school's rich diversity.
A very special thank you goes to all the amazing families who volunteered their time and shared their heritage by creating beautiful displays, tables, and especially for sharing their delicious, traditional food! Cuba, Mexico, Puerto Rico, Colombia, Guatemala, Honduras, Dominican Republic, Japan,Belarus, Iceland, USA, Philippines, Guyana, Venezuela, Vietnam, Italy, Ecuador, England. Your efforts and culinary contributions are what made the evening so vibrant and memorable.
It was a joy seeing so many of our families, parents, and grandparents come together. I had the pleasure of meeting many of you for the first time—what a warm, polite, and supportive community we have!
We are so happy to have been a part of this special evening, celebrating all the cultures that make our school community so vibrant.
As always, we learn from every experience, and we are confident that with your continued support, next year’s event will be even better!

Queremos expresarles nuestro más sincero agradecimiento por su increíble participación y apoyo en la Noche Multicultural de anoche. Su entusiasmo y presencia hicieron de la velada un gran éxito y una hermosa celebración de la rica diversidad de nuestra escuela.
Un agradecimiento muy especial a todas las familias que dedicaron su tiempo y compartieron su herencia cultural creando hermosas exhibiciones y mesas, ¡y especialmente por compartir su deliciosa comida tradicional! Cuba, México, Puerto Rico, Colombia, Guatemala, Honduras, República Dominicana, Japón, Bielorrusia, Islandia, Estados Unidos, Filipinas, Guyana, Venezuela, Vietnam, Italia, Ecuador, Inglaterra. Su esfuerzo y contribuciones culinarias hicieron que la noche fuera tan vibrante e inolvidable.
Fue un placer ver a tantas familias, padres y abuelos reunidos. Tuve el gusto de conocer a muchos de ustedes por primera vez: ¡qué comunidad tan cálida, amable y solidaria tenemos!
Nos alegra mucho haber formado parte de esta noche tan especial, celebrando todas las culturas que enriquecen nuestra comunidad escolar.
Como siempre, aprendemos de cada experiencia y confiamos en que, con su continuo apoyo, ¡el evento del próximo año será aún mejor!
