And the peer mentor of the year is.... Fabian Arcila!🏆

Peer Mentors contribute greatly to the LEAD Scholar Academy. They assist our first year students in adjusting to the University.  They plan social and service programs and meet with each student in a One on One meeting.

We have a special award named after Alyssa Lewis, who served in the peer mentor role in 2016. We started a tradition for the Peer Mentor of the Year, named after our own Alyssa Lewis who unfortunately passed away in 2017. Each year a new peer mentor is chose to receive the award from nominations received from students, faculty, or staff.

Congratulations to this year's award winner: Fabian Arcila! Your dedication to serving LEAD Scholars has not gone unnoticed. Thank you for all you do!
