The JOURNAL is here!

The JOURNAL provides a two-fold purpose: to lead us toward the reflection of how we individually practice peace and justice, and a place to document the work being done in our community, nation, and the world.

In this issue, you will read about a Valencia College student's experience in the PJI Distinction Program; the role salutogenesis plays in cultivating health, love, and peace; a tribute to Valencia College's Mother of Peace Studies, Penny Villegas; the story of how one municipality and leader, the City of Orlando and Mayor Buddy Dyre, engaged community members to address racial disparities, expand equity, and move closer to the beloved community Dr. Martin Luther King, Kr. envisioned through The Dream Community Dialogue Series; and much more.
