Yeah…I know it’s after 1am. But guess what we just did? Printed the shipping label for the last February order! 🥳
And I say “we” because I couldn’t do it without my Friday night pizza buddy, Sarily 😇 😊🙏 She has selflessly and graciously volunteered her time two nights per week for well over a year to help us get to this point and I would not have been able to do it without her! Plus she has way more patience than me for double checking all the orders and catching my mistakes 😂
I’ll be working on mystery boxes all weekend ( I’m about halfway through all these bins of die cuts) and we’ll start shipping out March orders on Monday.
As always, thank you for your patience, your support, and for helping us to stay in business!

If you missed out on the mystery boxes, you’ve got a second chance! By the time I gathered everything from all the places in the office I had it stashed in and brought it home to start sorting it all out, I realized there was a lot more than I thought. And since I STILL have no kitchen cabinets or kitchen sink, at least I have plenty of room to work on them :-) I think I can make another 20-25 boxes, so I'll leave them "in stock" all day today.

We've already shipped out almost 60% of the January orders and the remainder have already been pulled. Sarily and I are going to double-check them tonight and I should have them all shipped out by the time Monday rolls around. Then we're on to February❣️ It goes SO much faster when everything is made ahead of time :-)
As always, thank you for your patience, your support, and for helping us to stay in business!

It’s National Scrapbook Day 2026 Mystery Box time!
If you missed out on last year’s, here’s your chance :-)
Each Mystery Box will contain at least 50 different sheets of paper, at least one die cut kit, one paper pack, at least one die cut overlay, and at least 50 die cuts/“sample” die cuts (stapled together) - a retail value of $400 weighing almost four pounds for only $50! Nothing in the box is duplicated (hopefully)🤞🏻😄
There’s a Mystery Box A and a Mystery Box B, which will guarantee no duplicates if you want more than one.
Please don’t put anything else on your order other than the mystery box. I took everything to my house so I could work on them while the contractors are there STILL working on my shower, so it’s kind of a separate thing.
And...when they're gone, they're gone!

A HUGE shout out to my amazing “die cut angels” who spent hours upon hours, going through thousands of old file folders of die cut pieces and putting them together. Immense gratitude and appreciation to Yaros Hedges, Joyce Ciesla, Hardval Sullivan and A. Kimble for all the time and effort you put into this!!
Now, for regular SYT orders…
While Yecy was cutting all the kits(including the ones with matching paper), I sent out all the orders from January and February that had paper and die cuts only. She finished up the kits a couple of days ago, so we started back at January 1st with the orders that contained kits and now we’re going in chronological order until we get through the remainder of the January/February orders. I’ll be working all weekend on getting as many orders sent out as I can :-)
Hope you get to spend at least part of NSD 2026 surrounded by your favorite goodies and get lots of layouts done!
As always, thank you for your patience, your support, and for helping us to stay in business!

À la cart it is!
Sorry for those of you who preferred the kits, but this is going to be a LOT easier and faster once we get them all broken apart on the website (which will take awhile, so if you want kits, get ‘em while the gettin’s good!)
Here’s why: Of all of kits we sold in January and February, we already had over 56% of them in stock and ready to go (quite the difference from the end of 2024 when we had barely more than zero, huh?!?😂).
But…there are 294 Jan/Feb kits that need to be redone so that the extra sheets of paper match…and I just spent the past three hours while they’re working in my house going through the March orders and that added another 96. That’s 390 kits that need to be be reprinted and cut…and that takes time. Time to figure out (hope I caught them all) and time to remake them.
Fingers crossed, all the kits will be finished by next Tuesday or Wednesday and then we can start pulling orders with kits. We’ve already started pulling orders that are paper or die cuts only, and I’ll start shipping them out as soon as the workers are done with my shower this week.
Yep! I’m on day 80 of no working shower. Or kitchen.
But I did file a counterclaim against my slumlord last week for $50K for everything they’ve put me through. 😁 ⚖️🤞🏻
As always, thank you for your support, your patience, and for keeping us in business!

Kits or à la carte?
I’m sitting here going through orders while they rebuild my shower and it has me thinking. One of the things that takes a lot of time for us is our kits and making sure that if you order a kit and an additional matching paper that it actually matches :-)
As I’ve explained before, our paper has “dye lots” based on when it’s printed. Sometimes it’s close and when it’s not, it’s really not.
I could launch into a whole thing here about what our process is, but it’s probably more information than you want to know :-)
So I thought I’d get the opinion that matters most…yours!
1. Keep the kits as they are
2. Give me the option for the paper and die cut separately

Just sealed up the last order from 2025! 🎉🥳🎊All the die cuts and die cut overlays are already cut through mid-March orders and it’ll take a week or so to get all the rest of the die cut kits finished.
Then we can start whipping through 2026 orders with⚡️speed 😀

They finally started fixing my house today! It has been a looong five weeks with no kitchen or shower. 😡
It’s going to take awhile to get it all done, and of course, I’m staying home while they’re working on it. Since I knew they were supposed to start this week, I put in a lot of hours last week and all weekend and just pulled orders like crazy. 🤪
There are still a lot of orders that we need to cut things for, but I was able to ship out every order from October, November, and December that we had 100% of the items in stock.
October - 75% completed
November - 65% completed
December - 15% completed
Yecy should be done cutting everything needed to finish the rest of the October orders by the end of the week and the rest of November and December by the end of next week.
And, yeah, I know that still puts us two months behind, but it’s a definite improvement from six months. 😂 I’m hoping to be completely caught up within the next 60 days. 🤞🏻
As always, thanks for your patience and support and for keeping us in business! 🥰

Oh, what a difference a week or so with no contractors in my house makes! Not only did I get the rest of the August orders shipped, but I also got all of the September orders shipped out too. 🥳All the October orders have been printed and sorted and I’ll be starting on them today.
Sorted? You bet! I sort the orders for the month over 10 different ways to try to work through them as quickly as possible. Custom die cuts? Custom paper? One or two sheets of each paper on the order or six, eight or ten of each? Die cut kit by itself or with a matching paper? They all go into different piles. Then I start knocking out the smallest orders first while Yecy starts cutting custom die cuts and multiple quantities of die cuts that we don’t already have in in inventory.
As you can see, we don’t start with the orders from the 1st and then move on to the 2nd, etc. We used to, but this way is much more efficient.
Speaking of contractors, you’d think my slumlord could get started actually fixing my house instead of just making me run home every other day for yet another inspection for yet another bid. It’s been a month since they tore out my entire kitchen and shower. Floor to ceiling plastic wasn’t really the aesthetic I was going for. 😂
But, by the end of next week I’ll have withheld three months of rent…and I can’t wait to tell a judge all about it so that I can keep my rent money. 🤞🏻
As always, thanks for your patience and support and for keeping us in business!

It may just be another Saturday winter for all of you “up there“ but we are not cut out for this kind of nonsense in the Sunshine State! I’ve lived in Florida for 37 years (OMG… I’m old 😂) and I don’t even need my toes to count how many times I can remember it dipping down below freezing.
The low for the next three nights in a row is 24° and then Tuesday night is going to warm up all the way to 29°.
I’ve done my best to prepare…I even drained the water out of my radiator and replaced it with actual antifreeze. 😀
I’m probably going to end up shutting the cutting room down while it’s so cold. Remember when it was 98° in there during the summer? Well, I can’t get enough space heaters out there to warm it up from 24°. 🥶
The good news is that Yecy has been cranking and has stocked our inventory so well that I have already pulled half of the August orders and shipped about a quarter of them.
I think I’ll spend tomorrow curled up on the couch in front of my fake fireplace with a warm blanket and some hot chocolate…and thank God my slumlord finally fixed my heat last week!
Stay warm and stay safe…wherever you are 🥰

It seems like we’ve been working on July orders for months. Wait…we HAVE been working on July orders for months! 🤪
But guess what the mail carrier just picked up? The last of the July orders! Whoo hoo! Every once in a while, I started to feel like I was in a queue at Disney World. Just when I thought I was nearing the end, I turned the corner and there was a whole bunch more. 😂
We had almost as many July orders as April, May and June combined, so it definitely took awhile to get through them all. The holidays and my house disaster didn’t help much either.
Speaking of my house disaster, my slumlord…oops…I mean landlord finally actually started the mold remediation work. I had to send them a legal notice and withhold my rent…and it still took them almost three weeks to get started.
And despite having every legal right to do so, they are threatening to file eviction next week. In a way, I kind of hope they do. I can’t wait to explain to the judge how they completely disregarded their tenant’s health for over four months. Maybe I’ll get some of my rent back :-)
They filled over 30 contractor bags with all the stuff they removed. Oh…and all the lower kitchen cabinets. So now I have no kitchen, no kitchen sink and no shower in my bathroom.
But, at least they’ve finally started fixing it. And since there’s no way they’re going to be completely done by February 1, I get to keep some more of their money. That ought to continue to light a fire under them.
There are a lot of times that being a tenant really sucks. But when I got divorced, my ex-husband got the house we built and I got Scrap Your Trip.
I definitely got the better end of the deal :-)

For most people the holidays are a time of joy. For many, they are not. Unfortunately for the past few years, I have been one of the latter.
Fortunately, the “holiday blues” are subsiding. I made it through the recent cold snap that saw the temps dip into the upper 30’s without any heat in my house. I’ve also started the legal process against my landlord as I’m still living in a mold-infested house (can’t afford to move, so I’m stuck here until it’s fixed).
Definitely looking forward to life returning to “normal” and getting back to achieving warp speed for our outstanding orders.
As always, thanks for your patience and support and for keeping us in business.
