Thanks to Central Florida Freethought Community and Humanists of Polk County for all the contributions of time, talent, and materials to help us get insulated water bottles to folks living without shelter!

In collaboration with Central Florida Freethought Community and Atheist Community of Polk County, Orlando Oasis has been sewing insulated water bottle sleeves for reusable water bottles that will help unhoused and under-housed people keep beverages cool in the face of extreme heat!

In collaboration with Central Florida Mutual Aid, we have launched a new Mutual Aid Transportation Fund! This is one of the most frequent requests the mutual aid network receives, and it's often in situations where lack of transportation causes a domino effect with losing a job, then not having funds for rent, then ending up unhoused. We can stop that avalanche if we can share funds for car repairs, gas money, bus passes, and other transportation needs. Please give if you can and share widely!

Hey Orlando friends! We are looking for volunteer speakers to give a 20ish minute talk at any of our gatherings from 9/11 to the end of the year. Talks can be about ANYTHING! Are you a teacher? Talk about what you teach! Do you volunteer with another organization? Talk about that organization! Science, history, art, religion, family, literally anything that will expand our minds and connect our community. We'd love to hear from you. Comment here or DM if you're interested!

Rents are coming due in just over a week, and Central Florida Mutual Aid is working with multiple individuals and families struggling to meet the full amount. If you can kick in a few dollars to the CFLMA Rent Fund, we'll be able to help people avoid missing a rent payment.
