Happy National Hispanic Heritage Month! The month celebrates the rich history, culture and contributions of Hispanic people in our country and our communities. Throughout the month, OCPS will be sharing information on parent resources, community events, and how our schools are celebrating.

Hurricane - Important update for our OCPS families:

Based on this morning’s forecast, sustained wind speeds will exceed 35 MPH on the west side of Orange County and as a result there will be no school for students on Wednesday, Aug. 30.

All after-school activities must end tonight by 8 p.m. and will be canceled for Wednesday. We are planning on resuming school on Thursday, Aug. 31.

We strongly encourage everyone to prepare for the possible impacts from the storm. We will continue to communicate all updates through phone calls, emails and text messages, as well as posts to OCPS social media pages, and on ocps.net. Information regarding make-up days will be forthcoming. Thank you and stay safe.

Let's give a big shout-out to Ms. Ramos for being named Support Person of the Year! She truly deserves this recognition for all the amazing work she does to keep our campus running smoothly. We couldn't be more grateful for her dedication and hard work. Thank you for everything, Ms. Ramos!

We would like to take the time to honor our very own Ms. Fernandez who is the recipient of Teacher of the Year! We are extremely proud of you and all of your hard work thank you so much for all that you do!

Congratulations on being voted Middle School Cadre 1 Assistant Principal of the Year and being nominated for OCPS Assistant Principal of the Year. Boys and girls soccer tryouts start today after school. All interested athletes please report to the cafeteria after school. Please make sure you have arranged transportation home. In order to practice, you must be cleared through aktivate.com and have proper attire to practice in. All questions can be directed to Ms. Knowles in room 173 or after school in the cafeteria

Wow, I had such a great time at the open house and 6th-grade orientation! I just wanted to give a big thank you to all the amazing people who helped make the night such a huge success. You all did an awesome job!
