Miss Foxy is leading a Boa skills & Choreo workshop - April 26th 2-3:30 at Inez Patricia Dance Studio

Expect to move! Discover patterns and pathways for your boa, how to utilize the boa for the perfect tease, and finish with boa focused choreography.

And to make things sweeter, Miss Foxy has teamed up with Bear Boas out of the UK. If you’ve seen Miss Foxy work a boa, you’ve definitely seen a Bear Boa! Ordering this way, we are able to offer a sweet discount and money saved on shipping!
THEN, you will have a boa to play with, you can join the workshop to learn how to work the boa, and you will have a prop for upcoming shows.

Musicality & Movement Dynamics for Burlesque Dancers with 2/22 2-3pm

Designed to help dancers develop a deeper connection to music, Misty Rose guides each student on enhancing their stage presence through intentional movement, rhythm, and dynamic expression. Through these guided exercises, drills, and choreography exploration, students will learn how to interpret music, play with accents, and use contrast to captivate an audience. 
Whether you’re a seasoned performer or just starting your burlesque journey, this class will provide essential tools to make your movements more engaging, fluid, and expressive.

Join Gaea Lady in this exploration of movement with silk : learn specific patterns, philosophies,
and techniques to integrate dancer with fabric. We explore dynamic whips, dreamy floats, infinite recursive spins, weaves, drapes, wraps, and improvisation to ignite the senses and unique creativity within. Students will dance with unweighted veils, flags, & weighted veils - learning the basics of Gaea’s specialty veil.
*Students should bring a silk or light fabric veil, at least 6 feet long, and/or bring large fabric costume pieces for improvisation in class. Gaea will have a limited amount of veils available for use, borrow, and sale.
