Leadership was in action yesterday at Camp Fowler! 🌲💪

We were proud to welcome 150 LVA 5th graders for a day focused on building leadership skills through experiential learning, teamwork, challenge, and transformative outdoor experiences.

A huge thank you to the LVA upperclassmen, who stepped up as leaders and facilitated most of the activities. And, a big shoutout to the LVA staff for making this happen for the 5th consecutive year! Watching young people lead, teach, encourage, and challenge one another was truly powerful.

Learning by doing. Growing together. Leading with purpose.

This is what experiential learning—and Camp Fowler—is all about.

🌲 Trexler’s 6th Grade + Camp Fowler = a great day!

Today we welcomed our first group of 6th graders from Trexler Middle School to Camp Fowler for a day filled with experiential learning, teamwork, adventure, and connection! 🙌

And this is just the beginning! Over the coming weeks, ALL of Trexler Middle School’s 6th graders will experience a day at Camp Fowler—stepping outside the classroom to learn, grow, challenge themselves, and build relationships.

Through these experiences, students have the opportunity to foster resilience, build confidence, strengthen connections, and support positive mental health while having A LOT of fun along the way! 💚🌿

We are incredibly grateful for our partnership with Trexler Middle School and for Project AWARE funding, which helps make these meaningful experiences possible.

This is what experiential learning is all about! ❤️

Excited to Welcome PA State Police Troop M Back to Camp Fowler! 🇺🇸

This week, we have the privilege of hosting the Pennsylvania State Police Troop M once again at Camp Fowler for an immersive week of basic training. The cadets are diving deep into the many facets of law enforcement and exploring the vital roles played by public service professionals who keep our communities safe and strong every day.

It’s truly an honor to open our doors to these dedicated men and women. This partnership has become a proud tradition at Camp Fowler — one that runs so deep that even our own Camp Director participated in the program as a young cadet years ago!

Thank you, Troop M, for choosing Camp Fowler, once again!. We look forward to a fantastic week ahead!

🎉 Honored to host the LVHN/Jefferson Research Scholars Program at Camp Fowler for the second year in a row!

This year, we focused on building authentic connections and intentionally stepping outside our comfort zones.

The 2026 cohort brought remarkable energy, curiosity, and fresh perspectives — it was truly inspiring to witness their engagement and enthusiasm.

Wishing this talented group all the best as they begin their research journey. I have no doubt they will make a meaningful impact in healthcare and beyond.

Thank you Kerri Green, EdD, MS, Lisa Keller, M.Ed , and Jeanne Reilly, M.Ed. For another great year!
