Cheering for a Cure! 🩷📣

Our West Orange Cheer and Dance team was proud to support the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure! Our Warriors cheered on every participant as they raced with strength and hope.🏃🏼‍♀️

A special highlight was meeting the El Modena Cheerleading team and receiving some extra encouragement from these fellow cheerleaders! ✨

Thank you to everyone who walked, ran, volunteered, and supported the fight against breast cancer. Together, we can cheer louder for hope, courage, and a cure! 🎀

MEET MR. IBARRA! 👋🏼

We’re excited to welcome Mr. Ibarra to West Orange as our new 5th grade teacher! 🎉

Mr. Ibarra grew up right here in Orange County and attended Fairhaven Elementary, so he’s excited to begin his teaching journey in the community he grew up in. He’s looking forward to building meaningful relationships with his 5th graders and creating a classroom where they feel seen, supported, and excited to learn! 🧡

A few fun facts about Mr. Ibarra: he ran the 2026 LA Marathon, loves horror movies, and is a proud dog dad to his French bulldog, Yogi! 🏃🏽👻🐶

“I became a teacher because I love helping students feel confident, capable, and proud of who they’re becoming.”

We’re so happy to have you with us, Mr. Ibarra! Welcome to West Orange! 🍊✨

Author Visit — Dr. Taylor Harper!📚✨

Yesterday, our TK–2nd graders had a special visit from author Dr. Taylor Harper! She brought books, donuts, and lots of excitement to West Orange.

Dr. Harper is a child psychologist, children’s author, and mom who writes stories that help kids understand big feelings, build confidence, practice mindfulness, and navigate everyday challenges.

Thank you, Dr. Harper, for spending the day with our Warriors and making reading extra sweet! 📖🍩
