Happy Friday, Clay County! ☀️

As we settle into summer break, it’s time to celebrate all the incredible hard work and growth our students have shown throughout the entire school year!

4th Quarter (Final) Report Cards are officially available for viewing starting today, Friday, June 6th, through ParentVUE and StudentVUE.

Take a moment to sit down with your student, review their final progress, and celebrate all of their achievements!

⚠️ IMPORTANT NOTICE: Action Required!
Clay County District Schools will be transitioning away from the Synergy ParentVUE system to the new FOCUS system for the upcoming school year.

Please download and save any past or current report cards you wish to keep on file before the system transitions. For more information, updates, and details about this transition, please visit: oneclay.net/focusinfo

💻 How to View Current Report Cards:
ParentVUE: Log in via the app or web portal to see your student's final grades.

StudentVUE: Students can also log in to view their own 4th quarter results.

Note: If you have any trouble accessing your account, please reach out to your child's school office for assistance (please check school websites for adjusted summer hours).

🚌 2026–2027 Bus Registration is NOW OPEN!

It’s time to start planning for the upcoming school year! Registering early allows our transportation team to build the safest and most efficient bus routes for all students.

How to Register (2 Quick Steps):

1️⃣ Access Your BusPlanner Parent Portal
Go to: sdcc.mybusplanner.com/Login
New users: Click "Create Account."
Returning users: Log in to your existing account.

2️⃣ Complete the Registration Form
Once logged into the BusPlanner Parent Portal, click on Parent →Online Forms and Requests→2026-2027 Student Transportation Opt-In

Go to our website at oneclay.net/bus and click on the 26-27 Bus Registration Form button

📍 Quick Eligibility Check:
2+ Miles: Students living 2 or more miles from school qualify for transportation.

🛡️ IEP Students: If your child has specialized transportation through an IEP, no registration is needed. It is already taken care of!

🚶 Walk Zones: Info on hazardous walking conditions and courtesy rider requests on our website at oneclay.net/bus

Join us in welcoming Dr. Laura Mayberry as assistant principal of Lakeside Junior High School, bringing 21 years of experience in Clay County District Schools.

Dr. Mayberry spent 14 years in the classroom at Orange Park High School as an Economics teacher and 7 years as an assistant principal at OPHS. She is a three-time graduate of the University of North Florida and is a strong believer in lifelong learning. She is excited to join the Gator family!

🧒 Registration Details: If your child will be 5 years old on or before September 1, 2026, they are eligible to start their educational journey with Clay County District Schools this fall.

🚀 Online Enrollment is Quick & Easy:

Before you start, make sure you have digital copies of these three "show-ready" documents to upload:

📄 Proof of Age: Birth certificate or legal guardianship documents.

🩺 Health Records: School physical and immunization forms (DOH 680 or 681).

🏠 Proof of Residence: A lease, mortgage statement, or recent utility bill.

After four incredible years at Lakeside Junior High School, Ms. Alfano is embarking on an exciting new chapter as Assistant Principal at Orange Park High School!

The positive impact she has made on the Lakeside family will be felt for years to come. Her dedication to students, parents, faculty, and staff, along with her unwavering passion for education, has helped make our school community stronger and more connected.

While we are sad to see her leave Lakeside, we are thrilled for her as she takes on this well-deserved opportunity. We know she will be an outstanding administrator at OPHS, and we will be cheering her on every step of the way.

Thank you, Ms. Alfano, for your leadership, commitment, and the difference you have made in the lives of so many. You will always be a Lakeside Gator!

📢 Announcing Our New Student Information System: Focus! ✨

Clay County District Schools is transitioning to the Focus Student Information System (SIS) for the 2026-2027 school year. Focus will become your new hub for checking grades, attendance, and scheduling, replacing Synergy ParentVUE and StudentVUE.

🗓️ Important Dates for a Smooth Transition:

June 25: Access to Synergy ParentVUE ends. (Be sure to download any report cards you'd like to keep before this date! 📄)

July 6: The new Focus portal and mobile app go live! 📱

⚠️ One Quick Step to Prepare:
To ensure you receive instructions on how to access your new Focus account via email this July, please log in to ParentVUE before June 25 to verify that your email and phone number are correct.

💬 Note: You will continue to use the OneClay App for all school communications and Rooms—only the student information portal is changing!

🍎🥦 FREE Summer Meals for Kids in Clay County! ☀️🍗

Clay County District Schools Food & Nutrition Services is excited to announce our Summer 2026 Food Service Program! From June 8th to July 31st, all children ages 18 and under can receive free, nutritious meals.

No applications are required! We have two types of meal options available Monday through Friday depending on the location:

🚗 USDA Rural Sites (Off-Site Pick-up / Grab & Go)
Parents/children can pick up a hot lunch and a cold breakfast for the next day to enjoy at home!
⏰ Time: Monday – Friday, 11:30 AM – 12:30 PM
📍 Locations:
• Keystone Elementary, McRae Elementary, Shadowlawn Elementary, Wilkinson Elementary

🍽️ USDA Non-Rural Sites (On-Site Consumption / Dine-In)
Children must eat their hot meals at the school during the designated times.
⏰ Times: Monday – Friday | Breakfast: 9:00 AM – 9:30 AM | Lunch: 11:30 AM – 12:00 PM
📍 Locations:
• Argyle Elementary, Charles E. Bennett Elementary, Swimming Pen Creek Elementary, Orange Park Junior High

Please note: There will be no meal service on July 2nd–3rd in observance of Independence Day. Sites are subject to close based on participation.
