🗳️ 2026 General Election: Important Dates to Remember

Make sure your voice is heard! Clay County District Schools encourages all eligible voters in our community—including parents, staff, and students turning 18—to prepare for the upcoming 2026 General Election.

Mark your calendars with these key deadlines:

October 5: Voter Registration Deadline Register to vote or update your information online at RegisterToVoteFlorida.gov.

October 22: Last Day to Request a Mail Ballot Submit your request by 5:00 PM at ClayElections.gov.

October 23–31: Early Voting All seven Clay County sites are open daily from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM (including weekends).

November 3: Election Day Polls are open from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM.

Today, September 17th, we celebrate the signing of the U.S. Constitution in 1787—the foundation of our nation’s freedoms, rights, and democracy.

As part of American Founders' Month, students across Clay County District Schools are diving into civics and history lessons to learn how our government works and what it means to be an active, informed citizen. ❤️🤍💙

🌟 Community Partner Shout-Out 🌟

Thank you to the incredible ClayFLDST! The sorors of this organization have been consistent supporters of Argyle Elementary and we are so grateful for their ongoing contributions to our pioneers!

Their back-to-school supply drive has provided our students and staff with snack donations, gift cards for staff recognition, and shorts/underwear donations for our clinic! Thank you, Clay County DST! 💙🩶

Congratulations to sixth grader, Elijah C, our Exercise and Nutrition Challenge winner for the month of August!

September's challenges are:
Exercise: Participate in your school's run/walk program or walk 3 times a week as part of your 60 minutes or physical activity each day!
Nutrition: Visit the grocery store with a parent or guardian this month to see what is needed to build a healthy meal!

Students can place their signed "Fuel Up to Play - Cafeteria Circus" slip in the box on the stage in the cafeteria each month! One student's name will be drawn monthly for a prize, with the grand prize winner receiving a bike in the month of May!

Let's see how many participating pioneers we can get!
