Pride of the Dutchmen Marching Band

Pride of the Dutchmen Marching Band MOC-Floyd Valley High School Band Program - Orange City, Iowa The Pride of the Dutchmen Marching Band performs for MOC-Floyd Valley Home Football Games.

In addition, the band competes throughout Minnesota, Iowa, South Dakota, and Nebraska at various marching competitions. The band also marches each year in the Orange City Tulip Festival parades the third weekend in May.

EXTRA, EXTRA!

The Pride of the Dutchmen are officially back for the 2026 season and this year, we're traveling back in time as newspaper boys with a message worth shouting from the street corner: information is currency, and the times are a'changing.

Get ready for colorful jazz music, attention-grabbing visuals, and swing-style dance all season long. Come see us "start spreading the news" at one of our competitive performances this fall:

The Dutchmen have been working hard during week 2 to improve the chic details of our show!

This week we have focused on musical style, new sets, and choreography. We cannot wait to give you a sneak peek of our 2026 field show at 8:00 PM TOMORROW, Saturday, August 15 on Korver Field.

We ended our Friday with some fun games on the green! From card games to football the Dutchmen laughed together and got to know one another better.

This is only the beginning of many memories to be made during the 2026 Pride of the Dutchmen season! See you tomorrow, Dutchmen, for our last full day of camp!

The Dutchmen are on the move! We learned many more sets this afternoon and also got to practice marching fundamentals! Marching diagonally was a focus for the morning sessions.

Along with marching on the field, students have been learning a dance with McKenzie Kuiken. Learning this dance has helped us with coordination, balance, and counting. This routine includes several common steps of choreography that could be a part of our show!
