🍫🍫 Sweet Adventures at AAKC Summer Camp! 🍫🍫

A recent field trip took our campers to the Angell & Phelps Chocolate Factory, where they learned how chocolate is made—from cocoa beans to the delicious treats we all love!

Our campers enjoyed watching the chocolate-making process, learning the history behind the factory, asking great questions, and, of course, sampling some amazing chocolate! 🍬😋

At AAKC Summer Camp, we love combining fun with hands-on learning through unique experiences that spark curiosity and create lasting memories.

We’re exploring an exciting new opportunity!

A retired M.Ed. Science Teacher is interested in partnering with AAKC Academy to launch a 2-day-per-week Environmental Science Field Trip Class for Fall 2026.

Students would travel to local parks, springs, conservation areas, and environmental centers to experience science through hands-on exploration. Imagine learning about manatees at Blue Spring State Park, studying ecosystems in nature, and discovering Florida’s incredible wildlife—all while earning a science education outside the traditional classroom.

😄 I get a little turned around between pages and Groups sometimes, but here are some highlights from the last two weeks of Summer Camp!

From meeting sea turtles and petting stingrays at the Marine Science Center to crafts, games, playground adventures, and making new friends, our campers have been making memories every day. ☀️🚌🎨🐢

🌊🐢 Big Trip Friday at the Marine Science Center! 🐢🌊

Our campers had an amazing day exploring and learning at the Marine Science Center!

We got up close with sea turtles, learned about local birds and wildlife, and even had the opportunity to pet stingrays. The kids asked great questions and enjoyed seeing marine life in a hands-on learning environment.

To top off the day, we headed to the neighboring playground where everyone got to burn off some extra energy and enjoy time with friends.

At AAKC Summer Camp, every field trip is an opportunity to learn, explore, and make lasting memories. We can’t wait to see where our next adventure takes us! ☀️🚌
