The Opp High School Mu Alpha Theta Math Club held its Induction Ceremony on Thursday, December 4th at 7:00 pm in the OHS Auditorium. 23 new members were inducted at the ceremony. The 2025-2026 MAT Officers are: President Caroline Short, Vice President(s) Bethany Burgess and Kate Whigham, Treasurer Crislyn Birge, Secretary Mckenzie Phillips, and Historian Braleigh Nall. Current members include the 6 officers, Le’Tasia Coleman, and Lilyann Coleman. The new members are: Weston Donaldson, Reid Ellis, Mariella Fernandez, Jayla Germany, Cash Harrell, Ashlynn Henderson, Shayna Huckabaa, Banks Johnson, Alan Jones, Clay Kyser, Kenna Marczewski, Madi Matthews, Luis Montalvo, Grady Patterson, Gehrig Presley, Crystal Rogers, Saban Sasser, Derriyahn Sheridan, Carreline Spears, Ben Spurlin, Baylor Turman, Mya Wilson, and Elijah Womack.
