A Robocall went out this morning incorrectly noting our start time for the coming school year as 8:15. All Onalaska schools will start at 8:00 am and end at 3:15 pm. We apologize for the confusion and look forward to seeing you all next week.

📚 Back-to-School Daily Schedule Reminder 🍎

As we get ready for a great school year, please review these important times for our Elementary students:

🚗 Student Drop-Off: 7:40–7:55 AM

🥣 Breakfast: Begins at 7:45 AM

🔔 School Starts: 8:00 AM (Elementary, Middle, and High School)

⏰ If your child arrives after 8:00 AM, they must check in at the Elementary/Middle School Office before going to class.

🚗 Student Pick-Up: 3:15 PM (Elementary, Middle, and High School)

📞 After-School Plans: Any changes to your child's after-school plans must be called into the school office no later than 2:00 PM.

Thank you for helping us keep arrival and dismissal safe and efficient. We can't wait to welcome everyone back for an amazing school year!

There is now video footage and photographic evidence that Elementary Principal Mr. Markuson was completely surrounded by students and absolutely soaked with water balloons on the last day of school! 💦🎈📸

Was this the students' sweet revenge for the Spirit Week competition that may or may not have actually been a competition? 🤔😂

Or is this simply how Mr. Markuson stays in peak condition for elementary principal duties? 💪😄

You'll have to watch the slideshow and decide for yourself. One thing is certain. Everyone had an incredible time, and it was the perfect way to celebrate another amazing school year! 🎉

We might just have to see if Mr. Markuson is ready for a rematch when the 2026-2027 school year begins. 😎🎈

💜💛 Celebrating Growth, Hard Work, and a Love of Reading! 💜💛

We are excited to share this special video of Timber Hawkins enjoying her new bicycle!

Timber earned her bike by improving her reading skills by an incredible 27 months in just one school year. What an amazing accomplishment!

Timber's classmate, Pamela Solis-Palacios, also earned a bicycle after improving her reading by an outstanding 35 months in one year. We are so proud of both students for their dedication, perseverance, and commitment to learning.

These bicycles were generously donated by Carol Kerns in honor of beloved former Onalaska Elementary teacher Sherri Claywell. This thoughtful gift continues Sherri's legacy of encouraging students to reach their full potential through education and literacy.

Congratulations, Timber and Pamela! Your hard work has truly paid off, and we cannot wait to see where your reading journeys take you next. 📚🚲✨

🏕️📚✨ Camp Read-A-Lot was a huge success in 2nd Grade! ✨📚🏕️

On Friday, our 2nd grade students enjoyed their annual Camp Read-A-Lot right in their classrooms. Students came dressed in cozy pajamas and brought along their favorite stuffed animals and blankets for a day full of learning and fun! 🧸🛏️📖

Throughout the day, students participated in exciting camp-themed activities, including flashlight reading 🔦📚, enjoying a delicious s'mores snack 🍫🔥, and taking a math walk around the room to solve problems 🧮🚶‍♂️🚶‍♀️.

Thank you to Mrs. Roxanne Smith for sharing these wonderful photos from such an exciting day. We love seeing our students engaged, learning, and making special memories together! 🌲⛺❤️
