To our incredible sixth graders: As you turn the page to this next chapter, you leave behind a true legacy of leadership. From being the role models our school looked up to, to consistently earning the praise and respect of every substitute teacher who walked into your classrooms, you have set the bar incredibly high. As you head into middle school, our greatest hope is that you carry this momentum with you. Continue to lead with the same hard work, kindness, and initiative that defined your time here. Remember to protect your dream by surrounding yourselves with people who lift you up, challenge you to grow, and push you closer to your goals. We are so proud of who you are, and we cannot wait to see who you become. And remember, once a Mustang, ALWAYS a Mustang!❤️

We want to give a massive shout-out to our incredible National History Day (NHD) team! Since its inception just last year, this program has taken off with historic success.
Our students showed up and showed out at both the District and State levels. A special, monumental congratulations goes to Annabelle, Bianka, and Lizzie! This talented trio qualified for the NHD Nationals in the Junior Group Documentary category. They will be traveling to Baltimore, MD to compete on the national stage!
None of this would be possible without the incredible leadership of Mr. B, our 5th-6th grade science and social studies teacher, who has guided these students every step of the way. We also want to extend a huge thank you to Mrs. Podraza for her unwavering support of our program.
Please join us in congratulating the entire team and wishing Annabelle, Bianka, and Lizzie the absolute best of luck in Baltimore! Bring home the gold, girls!

Presenting our Champions of Character as selected by their peers. These Mustangs have earned the reputation of being a good friend, being someone who can be counted on to pick you up when you’re feeling down, and someone who shows kindness and respect to all. They lead with empathy, they are inclusive, and they do what’s right, even when no one is watching. We CAN change the world with our kindness, and these eight are doing it every day. Congratulations!
Big thank you to Weitz for supporting this recognition by donating Target gift cards for these leaders!
