We’re diggin’ this perfect weather! 😉

This morning we read our giant book called The Tiny Seed and discussed flower/plant life cycles. Then we created our own beautiful flowers by mixing red and yellow paint with jar lids. We’re eager to plant our own flower seeds soon!

We couldn’t stay inside on a day like today!

This week for art we created our own reindeer portraits with watercolor paints and oil pastel. Each child followed the same step-by-step directions and created their very own unique masterpiece! It was so fun watching them create their own version of the same art project! 🦌🖌️

A zoo trip in December? You betcha! Our favorite part was watching the puffins’ feeding and training session!

We practiced dexterity and patience today while creating our own bead ornaments without assistance!🎄

Look what we found in the garden today- a Polyphemus moth caterpillar! This was a fun discovery that turned into a lesaon on caterpillar lifecycles. 🐛

We embarked on our very first trail adventure today and these kiddos did amazing! 2.2 miles of beautiful nature, exploration and perseverance. I’m so proud!!

We started our morning with clipping some flowers to display in our classroom and harvesting the seeds that were ready. We’re so excited to save our own seeds to plant next year!! 🌸🌼
