WMS Student Council used the money they made from the Valentine Sales to buy fabric to make blankets for the Humane Society.

WMS Orchestra had their Pops and Popsicles concert. They have put in so much hard work this year and showcased their talent.

A huge congratulations to WMS Girls track & field team. Out of 10 schools competing on Friday, 8th grade girls were 1st Place Champions and 7th grade girls were Runner-Up Champions. We also had several school records beaten this season!

Incoming 7th graders spent the Friday getting a "snapshot" of middle school life—complete with building tours, a special greeting from Apollo, and a crash course in all things WMS 101.

Hope Squad wrapped up their final two meetings by connecting with the Jr. Hope Squad at Rockbrook Elementary and the Hope Squad at WMS. Our leadership team answered questions, shared their Youth Summit presentation, and built meaningful connections across schools. Grateful for Mrs. Davis and Mrs. Schulz for laying a strong foundation for the future of Westside Hope Squad!

Westside Shines at Battle of the Books! 📚✨

On Tuesday, May 5, Westside Middle School proudly sent three teams to compete in the Battle of the Books at ESU3. Throughout the year, students read from a list of ten books and prepared for challenges in Performance, Writing, and Technology. The event featured 14 teams from across the region, including schools from Blair, Lewis & Clark, Mission, Papillion La Vista, and Westside.

We're thrilled that all three Westside teams were competitive and earned awards in at least two categories!
