The College of Information Science and Technology at UNO is proud to team up with Bluestem Middle School for the upcoming Girl Power event — open to students of all ages and skill levels! 🎉

This is an amazing chance for students to dive into the world of robotics 🤖 or take their skills to the next level.

Nebraska Science Olympiad (NESO), hosted by the STEM TRAIL Center, is gearing up for its 38th season — and we’re looking for new coaches to lead the next generation of STEM leaders! 🚀

Science Olympiad is the nation’s premier team-based STEM competition, where students (grades 6–12) tackle exciting challenges in science, engineering, robotics, computer science, and more. As a coach, you’ll guide students as they build critical thinking, teamwork, and a passion for discovery.

From exploring DNA 🧬 and symmetry 📐 to hands-on fun with zoology 🐾, hurricane-resistant structures 🌪️, and even learning about legendary and mythical creatures like dragons and unicorns! 🐉🦄—these kids are doing it all! 💡

And yes… they even made paint from fruit! 🍓🎨

Treehouses taught us about design and structural integrity. Bouncy balls turned into lessons in chemistry and physics. Robots? A masterclass in logic and coding. 🤖⚗️🌳 From wild ideas to hands-on builds, every second of our second week of summer camps was packed with fun and full of brain-boosting magic—creativity, teamwork, and discovery everywhere you looked!
