Hey UNO SMA Members!!!! Recently our own officers Rachel and Natalie had the opportunity to attend the Women’s Fund Luncheon at the CHI Health Center! The keynote speaker was Valerie Jarrett, author and former senate advisor to President Barack Obama!! The Women’s Fund of Omaha is a non-profit organization with the goal of improving the lives of women and girls through research, grants, and education!!

Attention SMA members!! Don’t miss your chance to meet the one and only Heidi Grunkmeyer! Heidi, the managing director at the digital marketing agency Ervin & Smith, will be sharing her insights on what it’s like to work in a real world marketing agency! We hope to see you at today’s meeting in Mammal 303 C at 4:30! Be there or be square!

SMA will be meeting TOMORROW at 4:30 PM in Mammel 303 C!

We will be hearing from Gary Domet, a marketing and ADPR professor on how to create meaningful connections with your professors and make the most out of your marketing classes in college.

We will also be discussing some opportunities to get connected with AMA and a paid student brand ambassador position, so come to learn more about both of these amazing opportunities!

Just another reminder to be emailing [email protected] and say the officer role(s) you would like to run for as we have Elections for the 2019 year! You are also welcome to nominate yourself or another present member during the meeting. We will be meeting at 4pm in Mammel Hall 303C and this meeting will be packed with food, free stuff, and fun! We can't wait to see you!

Yesterday some of our executive members had the opportunity to attend the Women’s Fund annual luncheon! They networked with other UNO business students and listen to Aly Raisman speak about her journey and who inspires her. Congrats to these ladies on being selected to attend the event!
