Student Government, SG-UNO, is the voice of the student body at UNO. Have a complaint? Concern? Question? Reach out and let your voice be heard.

Student Government exists to advance the student experience. As the official voice of the student body we represent, empower, and serve students. To this end we advocate for student interests to administration, faculty, staff, the University of Nebraska Board of Regents, and the Omaha community. SG-UNO continually strives to create a welcoming environment and provide impactful contributions for the student body.

Mavericks were proud to join students from across the state in Lincoln for I Love NU Day yesterday. Connecting with state leaders and advocating for the impact of the University of Nebraska System on Nebraska’s workforce, economy, and communities. Students from UNO were joined by Chancellor Joanne Li to highlight the importance of investing in higher education. ❤️🖤

As NU President Jeffrey P. Gold shared, “There’s probably no Nebraskan in this state whose life is not touched by somebody or some program or something that the university does every single day.”
