New traditions began today for our Miller Park Simbas 💛 We honored our graduates by hosting our first Senior Walk Through to celebrate their accomplishments and motivate our students to continue to achieve great things! Congratulations to the Class of 2026 🎓 Once a Simba, Always a Simba 🐾

This morning, volunteers from The Water's Edge and some of our incredible Miller Park staff (and some students!!) came together for our annual Spring Clean Up. We cleaned our beds, planted some seeds, and gathered together to beautify our school. Thank you to Jensen Gardens & The Water’s Edge for your time and support 🌸💛

Our Miller Park 5th graders had a special visit from Omaha’s Mayor, Mr. John Ewing Jr. We learned about the importance of hard work to be successful. We know that we are the present leaders to make the future of Omaha brighter. Thank you for your time and service!

📢 Calling all Simbas! This week, we will launch our One School One Book literacy program 📚 To celebrate, we are kicking off our literacy week with spirit days. Please join us in showing your school spirit each day.

We can’t wait to see you Thursday, November 20th from 5-7 pm for our annual Literacy Night. Your student will receive their very own copy of our One School One Book: The Wild Robot! Families will receive a packet of information, activities to do at home, and a reading calendar. The Pancake Man will also be flipping pancakes for all to enjoy!
