Texture time.
Those damn nupps...took me two hours to do this last row. đľ The things we do for the arts we love. đ
A mantra for the hands, one stitch at a time. These Hands of Mine is a culmination of all that is me: knitting, healing, mindfulness and teaching.
It is my goal, my joy, to bring the healing art of knitting to all that need it. Research has shown that knitting can:
*Help reduce stress
*Improve fine motor skills
*Create new neural pathways
*Lower blood pressure
*Induce a meditative-like state and mindfulness
*Increase relaxation
*Create a sense of community and belonging
And although research is still being conducted, we believe it may also

As the weather begins to change, we can do more than just admire the beauty of the trees. đđđWe can learn from their incredible ability to remain rooted and pliable during moments of change.
Are you afraid of change? Most people are! Thatâs what our subconscious minds are programmed to do. But change doesnât have to be scary. We can learn to embrace it with open arms.
