Saying goodbye is never an easy part of hosting, but thinking back I would rather say good bye than have never had those moments! Good bye is also what you make it. The student may not be living in my home but I will forever be in contact with them and will forever care about them.

Many people ask about the type of students we have on the program. In this picture is Jib. Jib was here to learn English, she started off very shy as she built her confidence in her langue skills. Once that confidence happened. Jib was witty, sarcastic and simple hysterical. She was always cracking a joke. She also made the most amazing and absolutely stunning desserts. During her stay my son who was only 2 and he broke his femur. Jib was a life safer. She snuggled him, played endless amount of games with him on our pull out couch, and just loved him like a sister. Jib and I stay in contact almost daily still. She is finishing up her forth year at the University of Bangkok. She has become my oldest child.
