Our PreK program gives 4 and 5 year old learners a strong start in a warm, supportive environment designed just for them. Through hands-on activities, play-based learning, and caring teachers, children build confidence, friendships, and a love for learning.
Students develop early literacy, problem-solving skills, and important daily routines that help prepare them for kindergarten and beyond.

Things to do before registration opens?
1) Create or Login to your account and make sure all your information is updated and correct
2) Add any students to your account that are new this year
3) Read up on Parent Handbook and program policies
4) Set you alarm for March 6th at 7:00am!

OPSF Kids Club & PreK offices will also be closed tomorrow. Stay safe and warm and we will see you back on Monday!
Due to the inclement weather and anticipated road conditions, Omaha Public Schools is canceling classes for Friday, Feb. 20, 2026.
It is a school closure day, and there will be no remote learning. Omaha Public Schools Foundation Kids Club, TAC and other district offices will also be closed.
After-school competitions will proceed as scheduled.
Stay safe and warm.

It is a school closure day, and there will be no remote learning. Omaha Public Schools Foundation Kids Club is also closed. TAC and other district offices will be open. Our OPSF office will be closed this week for Thanksgiving Recess! We’ll be out of the office Monday–Friday, taking some much-needed time to rest, recharge, and enjoy the holiday.
We wish all of OPS a wonderful holiday, and we are so thankful for our incredible students, staff, and families who make OPS such a great place to learn, grow, and shine. 🦃🍁💛

Jamie is an amazing asset to our team at Standing Bear Elementary, and we are so proud of her for earning the Legion of Valor Bronze Cross of Achievement.
