If you’re an introvert like myself, check out the top floor; great views and a quieter vibe make for ideal quietude and introspection. They also have meeting rooms you can reserve, perfect for smaller group sessions.

Still reminiscing about the incredible experience at and the soul stirring performances by .rodgers and ♥️ witnessing the synergy of music, spoken word and history was an experience I won’t soon forget

absolutely lives up to its name; a great vibes experience from the moment you walk in the door. They offer a variety of delicious drinks and treats, including seasonal stunners, but today I opted for a matcha and a scone.

The matcha was warm and addictive and not overly sweet, my only regret is not getting the large 🍵 and the blueberry lemon scone was a pleasant surprise; bursting with spring flavors.

Last night I had the pleasure of attending the Green Book exhibit at and it was fantastic. It spoke of the not so ancient history of a book compiled by Victor H. Green highlighting food, lodging and entertainment sites safe for African Americans from the 30s to the late 60s; some of which were even located here in Omaha.

What struck me most though was the joy, despite challenging circumstances. Sharply dressed men and women captured in black and white photos, smiling and enjoying life; that was inspiring. Also seeing the sense of community; in images and with fellow museum goers from many different backgrounds…it was absolutely moving.

I’m inspired to explore more monochromatic imagery, inspired to absorb more local history and inspired to show more kindness to all peoples…and to exude joy 💚
