May 1 is School Lunch Hero Day. Today we thank Karen and Katie for all they do in our kitchen and cafeteria. We appreciate all the work you put in to make sure we have nutritious and delicious meals and snacks.

The winner of our March Madness book challenge is none other than Brown Bear, Brown Bear What Do You See?
This book introduces color recognition, animal names, and has wonderful repetitive language. A family favorite for many years!

We've made music, tasted fun food, relay raced in tennis shoes, worked together and got artsy this week. Lots of fun activities to celebrate Week of the Young Child.

Monday kicks off Week of the Young Child. It is a fun-filled week celebrating early learning, young children, teachers, families, and communities. We will be doing classroom activities all week to celebrate!

As we celebrate Read Across America week, we'd like to thank two of our church member volunteers who read to us each week. Thank you Ms. Becky & Mr. Chris for reading to our kiddos each week and supporting early literacy!

On the first day of Dr. Seuss Week, we celebrated by wearing many different colors. We also did lots of activities using COLOR!

Today we had a visit from Nebraska Medicine to teach us about our hearts! We even got to listen to our own heartbeats!
